Senior Staff
With over 20 years of experience in the software engineering field, a Computer Engineering degree from RIT specializing in digital signal processing techniques, and a bold passion for using agile project management to deliver technology solutions, Jaimie Cole leads a team of highly-talented and highly-motivated technology professionals at iCardiac. His direction and leadership has ushered in fresh methods for efficiently and effectively delivering validated software (e.g. COMPAS), systems, and technology for growth and scalability on the cutting edge of cardiac safety technology. Little known fact about Jaimie: Jaimie is an accomplished musician and entertainer, most notably as the former lead guitarist for Rochester's own "Nik and the Nice Guys," a well-known local musical group which has performed on TV and at major sporting events such as the Super Bowl.
At iCardiac, Mark Ticktin has been responsible for the development and execution of processes that are critical to the core operational flow. Mark is responsible for the Data Management and ECG analysis groups and works primarily to support quality, on time deliveries to clients. Mark has experience in GxP regulations, including GLP, GMP, and GCP. Prior to iCardiac, Mark worked in Preclinical Development at Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) within the Genetic Toxicology group and in Product Development at Kensey Nash (KNSY). He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University. While at Drexel, Mark concentrated in Biomedical Systems and Imaging, and completed a minor course of study in Electrical Engineering. Mark is a Philadelphia Phillies fan.
Brian is responsible for leading the Project Management and Project Support Teams to manage and ensure high quality service to our clients and investigator sites. Under his leadership, the team has supported a range of domestic and international studies across therapeutic areas as well as stages covering from Phase I to Phase III studies including a large number of Thorough QT (TQT) studies. Prior to his work at iCardiac Brian worked as a Senior Project Manager at ACM Global Central laboratories. At ACM he managed multiple domestic and international trials across a variety of different therapeutics areas for Central Laboratory testing in Phase I to Phase IV trials. Prior to ACM Brian worked at Wyeth as a Research Scientist and was involved in assay automation, coordination and testing of samples to determine efficacy in large vaccine trials. Brian has his Bachelors in Science in Biotechnology from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Outside of Work Brian spends most his time with his wife and his two beautiful daughters.
Robert is responsible for overseeing the quality and regulatory operations at iCardiac Technologies. Prior to joining iCardiac Dr. Sokolowski was an executive at CardioMag Imaging (CMI) for 7 years, responsible for clinical research, global sales and marketing, and regulatory clearance of a biomagnetic cardiac diagnostic device called a magnetocardiograph. Always ready to roll up his sleeves, he installed six systems, including 3 in China where he also set up a large service and calibration center to support the growing installed base. Robert came to CMI from Intermagnetics General Corporation where he spent 2 years as VP of Market Development, and 4 as VP and General Manager of a subsidiary that produced half of the world’s superconducting MRI wire. Dr. Sokolowski’s early career was spent developing and commercializing amorphous metals and high-temperature superconductors for energy-efficient electrical devices, but his role at NASA around 1990 as Program Scientist for several international Spacelab missions devoted to Microgravity Materials and Life Sciences research turned his interest toward the life sciences. He has appeared on cable television as a co-anchor of NASA’s Today in Space program during two NASA missions and testified before Congress on behalf of the DOE National Labs. Dr. Sokolowski received his PhD in Materials Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is the first person to graduate from RPI with a degree in German Literature, a logical consequence of his 2-year exchange study at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland. Dr. Sokolowski also speaks Mandarin Chinese and Japanese.
