iCardiac Appoints Chief Financial Officer

Rochester, New York – June 25, 2007 – iCardiac Technologies, Inc., a leader in cardiac safety biomarkers and technology, announced today that it has appointed Jay Baker as its Chief Financial Officer.  Baker, an experienced financial executive, will oversee several key functions at the company, including finance, accounting and human resources.  Additionally, Baker has been elected Corporate Treasurer by the company’s Board of Directors.

Baker was previously a member of the executive management team of Lenel Systems International, a developer and global supplier of software and services, where he was responsible for finance, accounting and key aspects of operations and fulfillment.  His involvement with Lenel began at the company’s inception, when Baker served as outside auditor.  He then joined the company as Controller, and his decade-long tenure spanned the full range of Lenel’s progress.  Lenel repeatedly earned distinction as one of the fastest growing companies in Rochester and in the nation, and in 2005 was sold for $440 million to United Technologies Corporation (NYSE: UTX).  Baker remained with UTC after the acquisition as part of its finance department and also served as Treasurer of the Lenel Systems subsidiary.

Baker’s other experience includes numerous years of practice as a Certified Public Accountant for several of Rochester’s premier accounting firms.  He is also co-founder of Marrow Drive Rochester, a non-profit that organizes and finances bone marrow and blood stem cell transplant registration drives.  He received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Rochester Institute of Technology.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome Jay Baker as a member of our executive management team,” said Mikael Totterman, Chairman and CEO of iCardiac Technologies.  “His business acumen and financial leadership will be a tremendous asset to iCardiac as we continue to grow and succeed.”
